Health City says rapid flow tests are now available
Health City Cayman Islands said today that its government-approved ACON Biotech FlowFlex® SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test Kits are now available at Camana Bay clinic, East End hospital and Cayman Brac clinic.
Health City said that the test kits are $7 each for orders up to 1,000 units and $5 per kit for orders of 1,000. Health City said that members of the public may self-test from the comfort of their home or workplace.
According to Health City, the test kits are suitable for testing large groups of people, including regular testing of employees, education, healthcare, sports, events, commercial, retail, travel and care industries.
Health City said that walk-ins can purchase the kits from its East End hospital pharmacy (9am-6pm) or its Camana Bay Clinic (Mon-Sat 7am-7pm and Sunday 12noon-4pm). Test kits will also be available from our Cayman Brac Clinic on Saturdays.
Health City said that rapid antigen (lateral flow) tests can help the country find Covid-19 cases that the country wouldn’t otherwise know about. They said that the test kits are another tool for the community to help maintain lower infection rates and they will become more important once restrictions have been relaxed and the government needs to spot new outbreaks early.
